Admins are automatically assigned to ALL projects and cannot have their access removed.
For further breakdown on user permissions and roles you can view our Workspace Settings Article.
Managing Workspace Access as an Admin
From within your workspace, navigate to your initials icon in the bottle left corner of you screen. Click the icon to open your account options.
From here, click Settings to open your workspace settings page. From your Settings page, select Members to manage and invite your team.
Once in the Members tab, you can view all team members with access to your workspace, including their role as an Editor or Admin. From here, you can update which projects each non-admin member can access.
To update a member’s role, click on their current role designation to open the selection menu, then choose the appropriate role option.
To update which projects that non-admins can access, click on their currently assigned projects to open the project selection window. From there, you can add or remove them from accessing specific projects.
Adding Team Members to your Projects as an Editor
When creating a new project, you can add team member access directly from the project creation window, under the Project Access section.
To create a new project, navigate to the Projects tab within your workspace, and select Create New in the top-right corner of your screen. This will take you to the New Project page, where you can enter your project details, including project access.
In the Project Access section, click Select Members to search for and add a team member to your project. After adding a member, you can assign them as the Project Lead by clicking the dropdown next to their name. You can also change the Project Lead after saving your new project, on the Project Overview page.
When you create a project, you are automatically assigned as the Project Lead, but you can reassign the Project Lead role to another member who has Project Access. Currently, there can only be one Project Lead per project.
You can also manage team member access to an individual project, directly from the Project Overview page.
Open a project and navigate to the Project Overview page. In the top right, select the three-dot icon in the upper-right corner to open the project menu, then select Project Access.
From here, you can add or remove non-admin members from the project.
To add a member to access the project, select the dropdown to open the search menu, then choose from the list of team members in your workspace.
Click save to complete the process.
