Shareable links provide a portal–like experience by giving clients and vendors view-only access to live updates. Recipients can stay up to date with real-time changes, saving you time and emails.
You remain in control of what information is shared by providing access to specific timelines or budgets, and when information is shared by toggling access on and off as needed.
Create a Shareable Timeline or Budget Link
To create a shareable link for your project-level, navigate to the project you’d like to share. Once inside the project, select Project Timeline or Budget Timeline from the left-side menu.
When on the Project Timeline page, select the three-dot icon to the right of the Export button to open additional menu options. Select Share to open the link sharing window.
Sharing is automatically set to OFF by default. Change Sharing to ON, then select Copy Link and click Done to close the window.
You can toggle the link sharing off at any time to make edits, and toggle it back on when you are ready for recipients to view again.
To create a shareable link for an event-level timeline or budget, navigate to the event from the left-side menu within your project. Select the Timeline or Budget page you’d like to share.
Once on the desired event page, select the three-dot icon to the right of the Export button, then select Share to open the sharing window, just like you did for the Project-level pages.
What Clients & Vendors See
Recipients of the shareable link will have view-only access to the information included on the page. They can view the date/time, line item description, vendors, and locations.
Recipients can also customize their view by filtering the page by day, vendor, location, and tags to quickly find the information most relevant to them.
Once sharing is turned OFF, the shared link will be temporarily disabled, and recipients will no longer be able to access the shared view.
The link always stays the same, so when you're ready, simply toggle sharing back on and ask the recipients to refresh their screen. No need to share links more than once!
