Add a Manual Management Fee to “No Event” Budget Items

If a budget item does not apply to a specific event, you can manually add a Management Fee to that line item.

When an item is not assigned or associated to specific event but rather the project overall, it will sit within the Project-level Budget rather than adding it under an event.

How It Works

On the Project-Budget line item, you can manually enter a Management Fee that will apply only to that specific line item. This option will only appear when the event column shows "No Event". Once an Event is assigned, this option will disappear.

This is especially helpful when your Project Management Fee is set to Per Event on the Project Overview page, since a “No Event” item is not associated with an individual event and therefore would not automatically have a fee applied.

Example:

If you have a project-wide expense that applies to the entire wedding weekend, such as Tenting, you can add the line item at the Project level without assigning it to a specific event. The line item will automatically be labeled No Event. You can then manually enter a Management Fee on that specific budget item if you want your fee to apply to it.
