How to create a Vendor

Learn how to a new vendor and update their details to ensure accurate information.

On the Contacts page and Vendor tab click on button Create new.

Now, here are two sections:

Vendor Details

General Vendor information.

  • Company Name - Enter the full name of the vendor’s company

  • Abbreviation - Acronym or short version of the company name

  • Website - Vendor’s official website URL

  • Instagram - Vendor’s Instagram profile

  • Vendor Tags - Select relevant vendor tags to categorize and organize vendors

  • Venue Spaces - Add specific spaces within the venue, like garden or a dining

    room, that can be referenced

Note: The Venue Spaces field is only enabled when the Vendor has the Venuetag selected.

  • Shipping Address - Vendor’s shipping address details

  • Billing Address - If the billing address is the same as the shipping address, check the Billing address is the same as shipping address checkbox

    • If different, manually enter the billing address details

  • Notes - Use this section to add additional text information

Contacts

Manage vendor contact details.

  • Full Name - Enter the full name of the contact person associated with the vendor

  • Title - Specify the contact person’s role or designation

  • Phone Number - Enter the contact person’s phone number

  • Email Address - Provide the email address for communication with the vendor contact

  • Primary Contact checkbox - If this person is the main point of contact, mark them as the primary contact for easy reference

    • Each Vendor has to only one primary contact.

Click Add Contact Person to include multiple vendor representatives/points of contact.

Contacts marked as primary will be displayed in the Contacts table.

You can create Vendors also directly from Timelines or Budgets.
