The Timeline is an essential feature for event planning, allowing you to manage all activities seamlessly and ensure everything runs on schedule.
Each timeline item can be assigned a specific vendor and location, giving you a clear overview of every detail.
Timelines are unique to each event.
For a comprehensive overview of all timelines across every event within a project, refer to the Project Timeline section.
Overview of Key Fields
Here is a breakdown of the key fields in the event timeline:
Start, duration and End time - These time parameters are interconnected, allowing for automatic calculations when at least two values are provided
Description - A brief description of the timeline item
Sequence - The Sequence parameter allows you to link multiple timeline items together, enabling seamless adjustments with a single action
To learn more about how to set up and utilize Sequences, please refer to the Sequences documentation
Vendor - Service provider or supplier responsible for that specific timeline item
Location - Venue where that specific timeline item take place
Tags - Tags are responsible for identifying timeline items. By default, they reflect the tags associated with the assigned vendor or location
However, users can customize tags for each timeline item to enhance organization and clarity
